Rhubarb is a plant whose stems have an intense and tart taste,  and they are used frequently in the United States and England to make pies, cakes, sauces and jams.

To make desserts, it is an ingredient that blends well with strawberries, chocolate, yogurt and nuts. Additionally, to prepare savory dishes, Rhubarb combines well as a sauce to complement meats and poultry.
